As we are still on school holidays here in Australia I have decided to keep my products on sale at 50% off until the end of January when the kids go back to school. Even the new stuff will be marked down!

I have a brand new kit called Celebrate. It is filled with roses, champagne and top hats and is perfect for pages or tags for weddings, anniversaries, engagements, birthdays and any other event you like to celebrate. It is available in Full size (S4H friendly) or Tag size (personal use only).

Next up we have a Top Hat script. The script allows you to select a colour, gradient or pattern for the hat band and to colour the hat to match (no gradients or patterns for the hat sorry). The script has been tested in PSP9 to 14 and is CU4CU friendly so you can use it to create elements for your own kits and pages. For those that don't use scripts, the top hat is also available as a template.

You can't have a celebration without roses so I have created some lovely Rose Overlays. They are CU4CU friendly which means you can use them to create papers for your own kits and pages. You can use different blend modes for lots of different effects.

I also have another frame template with a recolourable glass insert. You can make this frame with either a gold or silver finish. The frame is also CU4CU friendly so you can use it for your own kits and pages.

This month I have some new Designer Resources for you to play with. They are all Commercial Use OK and CU4CU friendly.

Some lovely red berry tubes and berry borders to use in your kits and layouts. Use the berries in element clusters for a Christmassy feel.

What's Christmas without some lights? I have a new PSP script that makes 2 different sized bulb borders for your kits and layouts. It includes a BONUS script for a single bulb. Tested in PSP9 to X4 with no extra filters required. If you don't have PSP then I have a template pack with the bulb borders which also includes a BONUS single bulb template.

We'll also need some ornaments for the tree! This template pack includes three different templates for Christmas ornaments -

Then to see in the New Year some Champagne glasses. This template lets you make your own champagne glasses to match your kits and layouts.

The best thing about all these new products is that for the whole month of December they are on sale! December is not only about Christmas in our household it is also my birthday month so ...

The Christian religion adopted this theme and called it 'Lammas', meaning 'loaf-mass', a time when newly baked loaves of bread are placed on the altar. An alternative date around August 5 (Old Lammas), when the sun reaches 15 degrees Leo, is sometimes employed by Covens."

I've gone with a winter theme for January and I hope you like what I have come up with. Firstly a kit called Frosted, available in Full size (S4H friendly) or Taggers size

Next up some scripts, a snowflake, a snowman and some mittens. All have been tested in PSP9 through to 12 and should work in 13.

Finally some charms. The Snowflake Charm is in psd format so you can make your snowflake in silver or gold and then colour the beads to match your kits.

Last but not least the FREEBIE, a silver and gold Snowman Charm for you to use in your kits or layouts.

Christmas Goodies Now In Store

Looking for some CU4CU Christmas elements to use in your kits and layouts? I've just uploaded 3 new scripts and a set of Christmas charms to all my stores! My scripts and designer resources are able to be used in items you wish to resell with no extra licence required and are CU4CU friendly (eg you can make S4H kits for resale with them). Full TOU included with each product.

Please note the Gift Box script requires the Vizros Box filter which is a Pay filter . This script has been tested in PSP versions 9 to 12 and should work in 13 but I couldn't find anyone who had 13 and the filter. The Christmas Ball and Christmas Tag scripts have been tested in all versions of PSP and do not require outside filters.

New Scripts and a Freebie

Hi everyone

I've been working on some scripts that will apply an effect to a tube or photo. Firstly we have a Metallic Effects script that comes with patterns to give a gold, silver, copper or bronze effect. You can adjust the script to show as much or as little detail from your tube as you choose.

The second set of scripts are for paint brush effects. The Brush Effects script changes your tube or photo to make it look as if it has been painted. You can adjust the brush stroke to suit your project. The Soft Pencil script gives a lighter almost watercolour like effect to your tube.

Finally to the FREEBIE - a Sticker maker script. This script will turn your tube into a sticker either with a flat finish or a puffy finish.

PLEASE NOTE - this script is not suitable for tubes larger than 1200 x 1200 pixels. This script can also be a bit fussy if your tube is an unusual shape because the white fill is at a fixed point (dead centre of the 1250 canvas). One of my PSP11 testers also had trouble getting the script to work. Best results are obtained if you don't change the canvas size and you make sure your tube is centred.

I have been a bit AWOL of late, haven't had much mojo happening and lots of niggly distractions in real life. On the bright side hubby has finally gotten off his behind and our laundry reno is nearly finished lol.

I have managed to get a new script happening for Easter and it is available in the stores right now! PLEASE NOTE - Super Blade Pro is required and it is a PAY FOR filter. I have this new script marked down to $2 (instead of the normal $5) in an attempt to make up for my slackness lol. This offer is good until Easter Monday (April 5) so grab it now while it is cheap!

New Charms and a New Store

I've just joined the team at Kreative Kreations Korner and my new store will open January 25 (store time not Aus time). Make sure you drop in and check out Kreative Kreations as they have their Grand Opening in a couple of days with lots of great things going on, including some stunning freebies!

I've been very busy the last few days getting my Collaboration contributions ready for a variety of stores as well as the new Starving Artist Store Blog Train which is due to kick off at the beginning of February. I'll post more details when each of these collabs are available. I've also got a new freebie kit I am working on which should be ready very soon, especially with the children going back to school this week lol.

I have a new product in all my stores - some gold and silver charms. Chains and charms are all separate so you can build them how you like. The Super Blade Pro presets (made by me) are also included so you can create your own matching charms to use with the chains provided. Add some beads or some glass and fill the charms - so many ways to personalise them!

New Products and a Freebie

Hi Everyone

I have some new products I am putting in the stores right now which I hope you will like. If you hurry in you will be able to get them for half price as part of my birthday sale.

First I have a new script pack. This one contains five interactive scripts each of which makes a 200 x 200 pattern fill which you can use to make papers from. These are Commercial Use OK but please note that you cannot use them to produce overlays (kind of defeats the purpose of the script). Simple Filters are required.

I also have some Commercial Use OK gems for sale. Size of each gem is on the preview. Each gem is 300ppi.

Finally, the freebie! A Commercial Use OK Butterfly template. The template is in psd format with a gold and a silver base and with the beads on a separate layer for recolouring. I hope you like it.

And now for the freebie. I have a Commercial Use OK flower template for you. Close off layers of the template to create your own custom flowers. Use your Colour Replace Tool (Paint Shop Pro) to colour the template with your favourite colour, gradient or pattern then apply your favourite filters or textures to get different effects. The largest flower is approximately 500 pixels wide but you can resize your template to whatever you want. Your only limit is your imagination.

First we have some butterfly templates that you can colour to match your scrapkits

Next some new lace dings. Use them with my Lace script or simply load them to your picture tube tool to draw your own lace.

Textures TOU Q and A

I thought that as questions come up about the textures I will edit this post and answer them.

I assume that by download you mean that I can't put the original file in the download but it is ok for me to use the texture to make a kit that is free to download?

Jaydensmama if your name is on the list and you are willing to give me a credit in your TOU then yes you can include the original file in the download. If you use the texture to make a paper or something, you are not distributing the original file.

Using My Textures, Patterns and Tiles for CU

I've had a few people ask about using textures, patterns or tiles that I have made in their Commercial Use products. What I have decided to do is to allow this usage as long as I am given a credit in your product Terms Of Use and that you have emailed me and had your name added to the list of people (on side >>>) with permission to distribute my textures, patterns and tiles. This includes any textures, patterns or tiles from my previous freebies and if you have purchased any of my PTU products the ones included there as well.

So, in a nutshell it means if you have your name on the list and you give me a credit in your product TOU, you can include my texture, pattern or tiles in your store download that goes to the customer. Please note that this is for my patterns and textures only. You cannot take pieces out of my kits and use them in your own kits or creations. My Commercial Use kits are intended for Scrap 4 Hire, Quick pages or brag books for sale, that sort of thing.

I have gathered up some of the textures involved and included them in a freebie here -

If you are using the texture for yourself there is no need to contact me but if you want to distribute it/include it in a download for whatever reason then you do need to email. Complimentary copies of finished products gratefully received if you are so inclined too lol.

So....what is a starving artist collab?

The starving artist collab is the first of it's kind for taggers, designers, and the digital community! Never before has so many different designers and stores come together for a common purpose! To designs and have fun! The starving artist collab kits will not share a common theme, but a common color scheme. Each kit is unique within it's design, and they are HUGE!!! There is a minimum of 12-15 papers and 30-50 elements PER KIT!!! And each for $2.00! WOW!!! And they are only available for the month of july as a Mega Collab!!! Be a part of history! There will never be a multi-store collab like this! Follow the blog, check out the designers and the stores and mark your calander's for July 1st.....That's when the amazing kits take off. PLEASE NOTE - The button script needs Eye Candy Impact 5 Bevel filter to work. This is a pay for filter which you can purchase or download a trial of HERE.

The lace script uses the Picture Tube tool to draw strips of lace from dings. Six dings are included but if you make your own, they will work too.
