I sometimes have trouble with getting Digifree to pick up my freebies too - so I went to the FAQ on their site and now I do this with my actual upload links:
if the link is (for example): http://www.4shared.com/file/75880858/a89b40a8/IcyBlueTaggersKit.html
they suggest you put a ?digifree after it, like this: http://www.4shared.com/file/75880858/a89b40a8/IcyBlueTaggersKit.html?digifree
uploaders will still be able to get to the share with no problem, but when Digifree's system scans for it, it will look for the "?digifree" and mark it as a freebie.
Since I've been doing that, I haven't had a freebie missed!
